Can I Take Diane After 7 Days Of My Period?

My last menstual cycle was on last sept 21-27..then i take diane on sept 28..but i dont have intercourse since last 7 months.is it ok?

Hello I'm just asking coz it was my first time to use Diane 35 last Feb 28 and it was my third day of period then on the 5th day I got intercourse so I finished my pills last March 20 so I'm just waiting my menstruation is there any possibility that I become pregnant if my period didn't come thanks

If this medication is not taken on the first or second day of your period, it will take a full 7 days, before it becomes effective at preventing pregnancy.

The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, spotting, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms.
