Can I Take Cephalexin If I Am Allergic To Augmentin

Last time I took Augmentin I had an allergic reaction in my abdomen. Is it safe for me to take Cephalexin? My dentist has given it to me.

If you are allergic to one medication, the NIH does warn that there is always a risk of finding more that you are allergic to, allergy symptoms may include itching, hives, swelling, and trouble breathing.
