Can I Split A Tablet To Take Half In Morning And At Night

I would like to know if I can split my morning dose of Lexamil to half morning and half at night. I am taking half a Dormonoct to sleep following insomnia after several surgeries last year. I find that 10mg of Lexamil in the morning makes quite dozy all day. Thank you

Hello, Bess! How are you?

As long as your doctor approves, it's fine to do that with any medication that isn't time released and doesn't specifically instruct you not to do so.

The FDA lists the typical side effect of Lexamil as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight gain.

Is there anything else I can help with?
