Can I Get My New Jersey Script Filled In Fl.

I am moving to Florida from New Jersey in dec my Dr writes my scripts for oxycodone 15 mg and oxycontin 20 mg for two weeks and gives me both of them post dated to fill 2 weeks later for 2 more weeks bc of my insurance will I have trouble filling the post dated scripts from Jersey in Fl when I get there ?

Yes, you most likely won't be able to get them filled. Most pharmacies won't touch out of state prescriptions, because it's much harder to verify their validity. Supply problems have also caused many pharmacies to have to restrict their customer base to only people who live within a certain radius of their store and whose doctors are also located within a certain radius of their store.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Thus, it would be best to get them filled back in your home area, before moving, if you can.
