Can Codorol Be Used To Treat Diarrhoea?

The Dr prescribed my mom codorol to treat her diarrhoea....is this right? As far as I know it could cause constipation and nausea....but in general it treats pain.

If the doctor felt this would be the best thing to help, then she should try it.
