Can Amox K Clav 875 Be Used For Abscessed Tooth

My dentist is out of town until Monday and the pain is pretty bad - I see what appears to be an abscess. Can this med be used in the mean time? I do have a fever

This is an antibiotic that can be used to treat rest various types of infections, but it will not do anything for the pain.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

Do you have an urgent care facility nearby? You really need to have this checked out to make sure you start the proper treatment and see your dentist ASAP to have to problem corrected.
