Can A Dr Taper You From Subutex While Pregnant

My Dr has been holding my meds. If I miss a day at the clinic then as punishment they hold the following day's worth, but from my understanding they should not be doing that while I'm pregnant?

While it may not be the best thing to do, while someone is pregnant, no doctor is required to provide you with any treatment, or medication, unless you, or your baby are in immediate life threatening danger. Thus, they can refuse to treat you, or provide a medication, any time they see fit.

I know this doesn't help you, I'm just telling you the way the laws currently stand.

Why have you been missing appointments? Are they not willing to accommodate you for when you need to go in?

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
