I cut my nose with my nail and I decided to put A & D on it. I spread it around my nostril and within two days it blistered the area and now I have redness and what looks like an infection. Will this reduce the blisters and heal my cut?

No, that likely wouldn't be a good idea. You should see your doctor.
Have you ever gotten cold sores?
If so, you can also get them in the nose area and, sometimes, trauma such as that will cause a flare according to the NIH. If that's what has happened, the steroid in the cream you've mentioned can actually make it worse.
