Can I Take Oxycodone If I Have Hep-c? (Top voted first)

I Have had HepC for years. Been on dilaudid 8mg. for a couple years. Still in pretty bad pain. Would oxycodone 30mgs. be stronger than my Dilaudids?

The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

So, oxycodone 30 mg is stronger than Dilaudid 8 mg? My pain Dr. Tiles me the opposite and stopped my OXY in the day for Dilaudid 8 mg and a Oxycontin 30 mg er for nighttime.
Did he just screwed me?
