Can I Call Drugstore And Ask Who Manufactures A Certain Dru

I know that certain manufacturers make better drugs especially in generics but I don't know how to find which drugstores carry those. in Florida we r treated like we are all drug addicted. so I was wondering if I have to take my prescription to each and every drug store and ask them or if I could call them.hopefully a pharmacist is reading this and knows the rules. Having to make a choice on my Medicare soon so I would like to choose the pharmacy that carries the better generics. Thank you

Unfortunately, there is no pat answer that anyone can give you, it is entirely up to the pharmacy, and their individual store policies. Some might provide you with this information, some may not.

Additionally, which generic they carry at any given time may change, depending on what company is offering the cheapest price, through their supplier, whenever they need to restock their supply. So, what they carry now, might now be what they have in stock the next time you get a prescription filled.

I am sorry, I wish I could help more. Usually, the best thing to do is to pick the Medicare option that covers what you need, and then go from there when choosing which pharmacy to use.
