Can A Lab Verify An Oral Drug Test For Alcohol

had an oral mouth test for regular drugs taken. The reg drugs were present but also tested positive for alcohol. I dont drink and i didnt use any cold medicines or mouthwash. The only thing I may have taken was 1/2of a 5 hr energy tm drink and was taking benadryl for allergies. They say with a mouth swab that it cannot be re-tested for confirmation as a urine test can ?

I really don't have a lot of information on the oral swab tests, but that may be true, since they don't actually gather a lot of saliva to test and a lab test would require a much larger sample.

These are really some of the worst tests, as far as reliability goes and I hate to hear of anyone using them.

Are you going to experience some type of problems, since alcohol was detected?

I have been testing positive for alcohol on map swabs since early October things I do not drink they have been sending the text back for confirmation the only thing that the mouth swabs do not do on confirmation is test the oral fluid for glucose. the lab they are using is called norchem. I have started paying for my own urine test because that seems to be the only reliable method of testing and am tired of testing positive for alcohol and getting in trouble for it I am going to see a specialist tomorrow I will post my results from there
