Calvepen Side Effects In A Toddler

My 13 month old son was prescribed calvepen on monday and after a day has had severe diarrhoea. Should i stop the antibiotic? He has tonsilitis.I am afraid of deydration as even water is beginning the diarrhoea again.

Diarrhea can be a normal side effect of this antibiotic, as listed by the FDA, he may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and non-allergic skin rash.

However, if it is that severe, you should consult his doctor, because dehydration is a serious concern.
