Calvepen 250mg For Cough

My 5yr old was prescribed calvepen 250mg for tonsilitis. The 7 days are up and it has cleared up,no further temps. He now has a bad cough, does Calvepen work for chest infections or will he need a different antib?

It would be best to consult his doctor, because after one course of treatment, he may have built up some resistance to this one and might need to use a different antibiotic this time.

The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
