I am 60 yrs old & used BGO since I was a child. I too, cannot find this miracle drug. If this is no longer made, I would like to know if anyone knows of something in stores that works as well. I am desparate. When I get a bug bite, it makes large water blister & my physician says use triple antibiotics & this does not help. Has anyone found something like BGO and if so where?

Although this product is no longer available, other users on this site who were also inquiring about it, had mentioned that the ingredients listed on the BGO packaging were as follows:

Salicylic Acid + Sulphur + Zinc Oxide + Phenol Calamine + Menthol + Petrolatum + Lanolin + mineral oil.

I would just suggest talking to a compounding pharmacy to see if they can reformulate a cream with these same ingredients; as other individuals have also recommended going this route. One other quick thing to note is that a compounding pharmacy might actually need to know the exact dosage of each individual ingredient before moving forward with that... something I haven't been able to find in my own research.

But as a last resort I'm sure a pharmacist could help you find something in their store with a similar set of ingredients.
