Butran Patch And Loratab

I am new to the butran patch. 10mcg per day. Can I take my 10 mg x2 q6hrs for the first couple of days after placing the patch on. I have read that it sometimes takes a few days at the beginning of this therapy for the butran to begin to build up in your system and become effective.

No, analgesics don't really work that way, it will start to relieve pain as soon as it starts to enter your body, it will just take a day or so to hit a full and continuous effectiveness level.

And I wouldn't advise taking any additional medications, unless your doctor tells you that it is safe for you to do so. Depending on your tolerance level, you could end up overdosing yourself.
