Hello,

Are you referring to Buscopan Tablets? If so, I'm not really sure about what information you are looking to receive so if my response doesn't answer your questions, please feel free to post back.

Buscopan Tablets contain the active ingredient Hyoscine, and are used as an abdominal antispasmodic. Buscopan is indicated for the relief of spasm of the genito-urinary tract or gastro- intestinal tract and for the symptomatic relief of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I have also read that this medication can be used to treat mild to moderate symptoms of Diverticulitis.

From what I can gather, the usual dose of Buscopan (hyoscine) tablets is 1 or 2 10 mg tablets per day. If you need to take this medication regularly, the usual dose is 1 tablet 3 to 5 times a day. The maximum dose is 6 tablets per day. Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the tablets.

It is important to use this medication exactly how your doctor has prescribed. If you miss a dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not use a double dose to make up for a missed one. If you are not sure what to do after missing a dose, contact your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
