5 years ago i had a stoke at 50 a year later i have this burning pain in my groin right side also inside of my right arm and the side of my chest and stomach also on the left side of my face ,the eye nose an lip. pain meds dont seem to help . it hurts the worst in the afternoon an evening when i wake in the morning it doesnt hardley bother me . as the day progresses the pain gets worse

i HAD A SIMILAR SITUATION HAPPEN WHERE i COULDN'T STAND TO BE TOUCHED AND EVEN MY OWN HAIR HURT ME LIKE i WAS BEING CUT WITH GLASS. the BURNING SENSATION WAS AWFUL AND IT DID NOT AFFECT ALL OF MY BODY EITHER. i TOO WENT THROUGH dR. AFTER dR, SHRINK AFTER SHRINK. over MEDICATED... then i WENT TO A PAIN CLINIC WHERE i WAS DIAGNOSED WITH CHRONIC NERVE PAIN, FIBRO MYALGIA AND MYOFASCIAL PAIN SYNDROME. i WAS PLACED ON A REGIEME OF mETHADONE 30 MG 2X DAILY AND 60 mG OF cYMBALTA (generic available) . This has saved my life as I wanted to cut my feet off at the knee to stop the pain. Remember Pain is REAL, I pray you find a good pain clinic and a physician who is there to listen to you and help you.

Do you have any other diagnosed medical conditions and/or are you on any medications right now?

It sounds like it might be some type of neuropathy.

I have been to 2 different neurologist, neurosurgeon, pain management, primary care doctor no results. Have taken every kind of anti depressant, seizure medications, pain medications, muscle relaxers,shots in back and groin area twice all with NO relief. Had carpal tunnel surgery on right hand.
