Bruising After Taking Metanx For Six Weeks

I am experiencing unexplained bruising on my upper arm and inner thigh. I told my doctor about, but she said Megan's wouldn't cause and that it's a good med w good vitamins. I didn't tell her I also take B6 every but have seen on line that I could be taking too many vitamins. I've stopped taking the Metanx to see if the bruising stops.

You should call your doctor and tell her that fact.

Yes, there can be severe problems that arise if you are taking too much of anything, even vitamins and the B vitamins can be especially problematic.

Even if the bruising stops, you may have done some permanent damage, that you should be tested for.

Did she check your vitamin levels with a blood test?
