Brown Pill Of Lo Loestrin Fe

Hello all. I am finishing my fourth pack of my lo loestrin fe and for some reason, I have not been taking the brown pill each pack because I figured I didn't need to. I have only had spotting that lasted four days, but I have not had a full period for the time I have taken lo loestrin fe. Is this okay to do? Should I call my doctor?

There are no active hormones in the brown pills, so they don't have to be taken.

And many women have very light periods, or none at all, while taking this contraceptive, but you should double check things with your doctor just to be safe.
