From what I've been able to find, that just marks it as being made by Owens-Illinois Glass Company of Toledo, Ohio, and says it should contain up to 4 ounces of the given medication that was in it. They used different Roman numerals on other sizes of containers.
These bottles were sold to many pharmacies throughout the U.S.
It enabled any given medication in them to be converted to teaspoons, or half teaspoons, as needed.
Is there anything else I can help with?
