Hi Dana,
Sorry to hear about the bronchitis. According to umm.edu's drug interaction checker, there are no interactions listed between azithromycin and benadryl (diphenhydramine). I found this to be the case on other webpages as well, which this leads me to believe that it should be fine to take the two together, provided that your doctor gives you the ok.
