Yes, there is always a risk of cancer spreading, or of developing new cancer. The best thing to do is to follow your doctor's instructions for further treatment to help prevent it from spreading.
The FDA does warn that you may experience side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, weight loss and hair loss.
