I have always had ezcema, but have always been able to control in, recently i had a skin reaction to my face only which left me with horrible case of blotched and raised red lesions,and very itchy, didn't know what happen, I have never had this before so in freaked me out.....went to hospital emergency dept and was given IV fluid of steroid 200mg, was then prescribed a dose of 25mgx5 tablets first day then decreasing dosage over a 7 day period, it worked great , however 2 days after finishing tablets my face just felt like it was on fire and very red. Prednisone was prescribed for inflammation and servere allegy. The internet is a great source of info so found out that maybe I have an underlying conditon, like, the need for cortisone because our bodies are not producing enough through the adrenal glands. I'm not sure, if I;m wrong would like to hear from anyone who has had same experience, and what else can I take to control simaliar out bursts. Don't want to have rely on this med as there are serious outcomes
