How many should I take tonight I have trouble sleeping and I'm trying to get some rest. I'm thinking 2 but I don't know if that is too much.

This tablet is manufactured by Contract Pharmacal Corp and they list it as containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 25mgs of Diphenhydramine, it is a generic or store brand of Tylenol PM.

That said, one should be enough, since the Acetaminophen augments the action of the Diphenhydramine.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth.
