Hello, Roland! How are you? Sorry about the toothache, they are pretty horrible.

This tablet contains 300mgs of the antibiotic Clindamycin, which can be used to treat various types of bacterial infections. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

Did your doctor or dentist prescribe it for this?

If not, then you should see your dentist for an appropriate antibiotic and treatment. If you only have leftover antibiotics from treating another infection, you may not have enough to complete a full course of them to eradicate the infection and that creates the risk of your developing antibiotic resistance.

Additionally, if it is a dental infection, then this will not treat the underlying cause that allowed the infection to occur, such as a deep dental cary, so the infection will just keep returning.
