Blood Test For Surgery
UpdatedI stupidly did meth for three days, and am having bloodwork done in eight days for knee surgery. do they test for drugs, and if they do find traces, will they still do surgery? will all traces be gone by then?

Hi mary,
Based on my own experience I don't think you should have anything to worry about when it comes to getting preoperative blood work done.
When I went through nose surgery they had me do blood work prior to the appointment and I had a good percentage of marijuana in my system at the time (before it was legalized). After getting my results back, I found that they don't seem to look for drugs, but rather your white blood cell count and other things of that nature.
I hope this helps to put your mind at ease! :)
