Recently I had a serious migraine and head cold with irritation in my chest. I took an otc cold and sinus medicine and not even a day later I started blowing my nose, but the problem was not only mucus coming out. I noticed that I was having bad nose bleeding and soft tissue was coming out. Please someone tell me what you think this was? I told my doctor and he said since I didn't keep it he wouldn't be able to tell me. This is now happening frequently and I'm not sure what to make of this. If anyone has any ideas on this matter please let me know.

Have you considered keeping a sample to take to your doctor?
That is not a normal occurrence, according to the NIH, it could be something such as Tuberculosis, but only your doctor will be able to give you a definitive diagnosis. Tuberculosis is most often manifested by a bloody cough, but there are other forms of it that someone can contract.
