Bleeding While On Eliquis

Help with bleeding on eliquis. Dr. wants my husband to go 2.5 mg instead of 5mg. Not happy with answer to his bleeding.

Unfortunately, a dosage adjustment is the way bleeding is usually dealt with, according to the NIH. Other side effects, as reported by the FDA, may include nausea, dizziness, headache, and easy bruising.

How bad is he bleeding and what has caused the bleeding?
