Birth Control Mono Linyah

I was just put on mono Linyah. My dr told me to take the first pill the Sunday after I started my period. I started my period on a Friday, took the first pill on Sunday. I’m not supposed to have my next period for 20 days, but I start the white pills in 14 days. I thought you were supposed to start your period on the day of the first white pill?

It is normal for your menstrual cycle to change, when you are taking a hormonal contraceptive, according to FDA notes. You may also experience other side effects that could include nausea, dizziness, headache, and spotting.

If any symptoms become too problematic, or if you bleed to heavily, you should inform your doctor, as it may not be the right one for you to take, so you might have to try a different one.

How are you doing, now?
