Is it safe to take betapace opened up instead of taking the capsule?

Betapace is not a capsule. It is an oblong pill.

I have been taking Betapace the brand name for 20 years because generic Sotalol does not work for me. This year my copay for 100 is $1200 and I don't know what to do?

If your doctor or pharmacist have not said it was alright to do so, then I would avoid it, as some medications do not work as intended when they are released into the body all at once.
