Hi. I have been having a great deal of trouble with my eyes..the left side in particular..almost always red..reduced vision..itchy..feels as if rocks from mars are in them.. I have tried many different medicines which include eye drops..the results are always the same..after a short while..perhaps a day or two..my eyes are red again..I have been to a specialist and have had several procedures removing cysts on my eyelids..but they always come back..what can i do..our eyes are the window of our soul...

It is generally advised that you not drink alcohol while taking any prescription medication. It can cause severe worsening of the side effects, so you may experience a lot more nausea, dizziness and drowsiness than usual, as listed by the FDA.

However, if your doctor okays it for you to have a couple drinks, then please make sure that you will not be driving or operating any dangerous machinery.
