I'm trying to get pregnant and my doctor recommended I take betamox 500mg. How effective is it?

Betamox contains Amoxicillin, this is an antibiotic and as such, it is ONLY effect against infections. It is NOT effect against viruses, such as those that cause the flu or a cold.

In addition, if you use it for such, it could result in antibiotic resistant bacteria.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea.
