Best Generic Bupropion 75mg Sandoz Or Apotex
(Newest replies first)

Mhich one is better? My son use to take bupropion Hcl 75mg from Sandoz Pharm. but when we bought our house and moved we swapped Pharmacies. They carry bupropion Hcl 75mg from Apotex Corp. I've noticed that he isn't able to focus as much, he impulse reacts more, and he takes longer to go to sleep, along with other small differences. Can this be because the bupropion from Apotex Corp. doesn't work as well for him as from Sandoz Pharm. I'm almost sure if it to be honest. Should I transfer and fill it elsewhere?

Hi Alice,
know this is an old post but are you still able to get Sandoz bupropion? I have tried multiple other generics to no avail. Just started Teva brand. No pharmacies seem to carry the Sandoz brand anymore.

Re: Leigh (# 5)
Thank you, Leigh! I will try Apotex! I actually weaned off the Bupropion since I have not been able to find the Mylan generic..... good luck to both of us!
Re: Fotina (# 4)
I had a similar problem. I was forced to switch from Mylan generic to Heritage Pharma generic and felt completely unable to focus after a short time. It was really very bad. I worked with my pharmacist and we found that Apotex bupropion HCL was available. It has been very good, just like Mylan. Try it if it's available in your area.
I realize this is an old post... I am really desperate...I have been taking Buproprion 75 mg generic from Mylan and it has worked for me, I can only tolerate Mylan and and Sandoz. My pharmacist called and told me Mylan has been discontinued, nowhere to be found... so I started calling all the other pharmacies for Sandoz and I could not find anything... I can NOT switch to a generic other then these two... I have 3 pills left and don't know what to do!! Maybe fill my script from Canada? How? Talk to my doctor? What is she going to do? The brand has been off the market years ago... I personally believe this is a disgrace...when people suffering from mental disorders finally get off the rollercoaster of finding the right generic that works, they stopped making it...it's really really awful and dangerous!!
Any suggestions....? ??
Re: Alice (# 1)
Just switched from Apotex to Sandoz. Not working for me but everyone is different.
Re: Alice (# 1)
I agree that Sandoz is a reliable bupropion. I have been taking it for years with no problems. There may be other good brands on the market but I do not want to be
the one will test it. I have had problems with other brands in the past.
My pharm just refilled my prescription with a different brand. I refused to accept it.
They are placing an order for Sandoz to fill my prescription. I have enough to get me by until it comes in. Do not wait until the last minute to get a refill. You may be stuck with taking another brand.
Most defintely transfer script. Ive been taking Sandoz bupropion and love it. Had it filled the other day, they gave me Mylan brand and it did nothing for me except make my bp go up. Imo Sandoz is holy grail for wellbutrin generic. Hope he gets to feeling better!!
