Benadryl And Bromfed Interactions

Can I take benadryl and bromfed within a couple hours of each other? I have a terrible cough. Took benadryl first and it hasn't helped.

Benadryl is an antihistamine that is used to treat or prevent allergic reactions, so it will not do anything to treat a cough, and unfortunately, Bromfed also isn't like to help, since it has not cough suppressant properties, according to the NIH.

To treat a cough, you need a cough suppressant. Have you consulted your doctor to see what's causing your cough and what would be the best remedy?

Are you on any other medications?

I took benadryl for allergy issues, and 30 mins to an hour later I took a BC powder for a headache. Can this affect me?
