Bella Phenobarbital

My GI Dr had recently prescribed me Bella-Phenobarb Tab for some gastric issues i was experiencing. I never had the need to use the meds. I am now experiencing horrible cramping from menstruation. Would this medication be helpful?

Yes, this is mainly used for gastric problems, such as IBS.

IT is very doubtful that it will do much to help with the cramping. It basically works as a sedative and relaxant, though I supposed that may help a little.
