Ok I am 27 yrs old I have had 2 failed back surgeries I am in pain daily with pain in lower back and down both legs...i screwed up when i was younger and became am IV user so now i have scars and a history am from east tennessee/ky area. My regular family dr will not help me. Is there any help out there for me or is going back to the old bull crappie only way of relief? I have offered to have counts, lab work, heck even to come in every day if need be. I just can't stand this pain anymore and as soon as they see my history or see the scar I am screwed. It should be malpractice I think...does anyone know of any pain clinic/doctor that will help me?

I can't recommend a doctor, because I've never lived in that area. Can anyone else suggest someone that may help?
However, with regular checks and etc., yes, there should be someone that will help you, it may just take some time to find one.
Another suggestion I have for you is to be willing to try non-addictive drug options, that may make a doctor more willing to help you and then you can move on, if they don't work and it doesn't make you look like a drug seeker.
What medications have you already tried?
As to the malpractice, under the laws of the AMA, no doctor is obligated to treat you, unless you are in life-threatening danger and, even then, once they stabilize you, they can stop and dismiss you as a patient.
