Hello, Delwynne! How are you?

There are risks with taking any medication on a long-term basis, but many people do require them for the rest of their lives, be it an antidepressant, a heart medication, a blood thinner, or a blood pressure medication.

The risks may possibly include stomach ulceration, liver damage, liver failure or kidney damage/failure, as reported by the FDA.

And yes, with such an abrupt lowering of your dosage, it is normal to feel out of sorts, it can cause withdrawal effects.

Have you considered getting a second opinion from a different doctor?

Hi there
I am feeling a lot better. Do you suggest that I should go and have a check up to mAke sure everything is in order because I've been so long on the medication ? I did go for a full blood count and Every thing was fine because I have an under active thyroid aswell.
