Been Taking Apo Sulfatrim Ds 800 160 Mg Just Finished And Still Feel Burning When Urninating (Top voted first)

I just took this pill for a week and before that I was on another pill for my urinary tract infection i am also on try cyclen birth control and my urinary tract infection did not go away i am wondering why when i am going pee it is still burning a lot, i also drank a lot of water and took every pill as prescribed, i am worried that this will damage my kidneys more because i do have kidney probelms/ scars on both kidneys. Any advice?

Have you consulted your doctor, again?

You may have antibiotic resistant bacteria, so you may have to try something else. With kidney issues, it is especially important to consult your doctor.

In addition, have you tried adding probiotics? Such as yogurt with active cultures?

I've had a bloody brown discharge and was diagnosed with an STI. I was given doxytet and finished the course. I've still got a bit of a discharge and now my pee is yellow and burning a bit. The nurse couldn't tell me exactly which STI I have! Am I still infected or do I have an Urinary tract infection that went to far???
