Bed Sore Treatment For An Adult Woman

My mother was diagnosed with osteoarthritis and that is why she can't walk. Now that she has this bed sore that developed near the back of her spine, I am searching for an ointment to use here in the Philippines that's available OTC. Would it be better to ask for a doctor's prescription before looking for an OTC ointment for bed sores?

I'm using CALMOSEPTINE ( Zinc Oxide + Calamine) i bought it in Mercury Drug and also in Generic Pharmacy @ 37.00.
