Be Tab Folic Acid (Top voted first)

I am a 18 year old girl and according to clinic i am pregnant my friend gave me some small yellow tablets in a bottle labeled Be-tab folic acid is this the correct tablets and what are they for and can i take them being pregnant.

I am pretty sure that what you were given is a nutritional supplement containing Folic Acid 5 mg.

This is supposed to be a good supplement for women to take while pregnant. "Women who had 4 mg of folic acid in their systems due to supplementing 3 months before childbirth significantly reduced the risk of NTD within the fetus. This is now advocated by the UK department of health, recommending 400 mcg per day of folic acid."
