Bad Sd Affects

my son is 11 yrs old started taken Nasonex when he was 9 yrs old and is now having eye probs!! not cool drugs should not be FDA aproved if they havenT BEEN STUDY long enough to really know if it cause other probs !! and now my son is a victum of this drug it needs to come off the market !!

Nasonex, which is used to treat allergic rhinitis and other problems that cause nasal swelling, contains the active ingredient Mometasone, which is a steroid class medication.

The only reported side effect that affects the eyes for people using this had been Conjunctivitis, also referred to as Pink Eye.

Has his doctor definitively tied his vision problem to the use of the medication?

Long-term use of some steroid class medications, has been linked to serious conditions of the eye, such as Glaucoma and Cataracts.
