Bactrim Ds 800 160 Tab Uti

I had a treated uti two weeks ago I was fine until now. I have constant burning in my urethra but not when I urinate. I did a follow up with my gyno and uti was negative. Also negative for sti yeast infection and bv. She gave me bactrim just in case. I dont know if I should take it or consider I might have post infection inflammation which I dont need a anti. I have had constant burning for eight days and is getting somewhat better. Is it possible the uti test didnt show a mild infection still? I am very healthy and have no health issues. I take zero pills as well. Thank u for any help

You may actually have a kidney stone, or several. In that case, an antibiotic won't help, they'll need to either pass on their own, or be broken up for you to help them pass.

Have you consulted a urologist?
