It is best to abstain from alcohol, when taking any prescription medication.

However, if your doctor says it is safe for you to have a drink or two, on occasion, or if you chose to do so anyway, you should be aware that it can cause worsening of the side effects.

Thus, you may experience more nausea, dizziness and drowsiness than usual, this effect will basically make one drink affect as if you'd had two and so on.
