Baclofen Side Effects

I was prescribed Baclofen to help with my alcoholism, ramping up to 5 per day. It made me drowsy - I literally fell asleep with a fork in my mouth. I could not walk a straight line, swerving when I tried. And my favorite - I peed the bed three times. I already can do these things when I'm drunk.

It may be that you're on too high of a dose for your body. Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, and dry mouth can all be normal side effects of this medication, as reported by the FDA, and the higher the dosage, the more severe they would be.

Have you informed your prescriber? A lower dosage might work better for you and not cause such awful side effects.
