Unless your doctor has specifically told you take both, it's usually best to stick with one or the other. The Azithromycin can reduce the efficacy of the Amoxicillin.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of these antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
