Can I take azitromicina (500 mg) if I suffer from thrombocytopenia?

It is an antibiotic that is used to treat, or prevent various types of bacterial infections. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.

Are you on any other medications? Was this antibiotic prescribed for you?
