Azithromycin Tablet 250 Mg

When I had my wisdom tooth pulled they gave me penicillin and I was allergic .. I need to take this 1g of azithromycin for gonorreah .. Is that ok ?

It is a different antibiotic, but there is a chance you may also discover that you're allergic to it.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
