sir i am having fever and cough, doctor prescribed me azithral 500, calpol 500, levocet and a cough syrup. What i want to know is about this antibiotics. Does it help in killing the viruses or it'll only supress it. Is it good to avoid the antibiotic and take the rest of the medicines?

An Antibiotic will not do anything for a virus, it will not treat it, clear it up or suppress it. Antibiotics are only effective at treating bacterial infections.
What medications you take are up to you, I can't tell you what you should or shouldn't take. That is up to you and your doctor, I can only provide you with information on them in relation to the questions you ask.
