Avalide Dosage Vs Losartan Dosage

I was taking Avalide 300/25. It became unavailable and I was switched to Losartan 100/25. Is this the same dosage? Also what color are the Losartan suppose to be. My Losartan are yellow but I also read were they are suppose to be white.

Yes, the Losartan is stronger than the Irbesartan in the Avalide, so this is an equivalent dosage.

And since this is a generic, it is actually available in both yellow and white.

Typical side effects to this medication may include nausea, easier bruising, headache, dehydration and increased urination.
