Augmentin Antibiotic 875 Mg After Taking 500 Mg

I have a sinus infection. I got Augmentin clav 500 mg last week. Today I got Augmentin 875 mg. Can I take a new one after 8 hrs of taking the smaller dosage?

Yes, you should follow your doctor's instructions for taking the new, higher dosage.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
